Fauna
Âldslach
These gentle giants roam old forest and mountain regions in search of their favourite mosses and lichens to eat. They can live for thousands of years and grow to be enormous sizes.
Hearth Wyrm
Hearth wyrms are common household pets in Tyrth. These tiny dragons never grow more than a few feet long, and are generally harmless - though they do need to be handled with tongs or special heat-proof gloves for safety reasons.
Harren
Harren are widespread in Tyrth and consist of both wild and domesticated breeds. These creatures are a common sight on farms and even make great pets.
Nautter
These otter-like creatures are covered in protective plating that resembles scale mail. Their scales grow back continuously throughout their lives, and have a lovely iridescent sheen.
Lumari
Lumari are large flying creatures covered in brightly coloured feathers. There are many mysteries surrounding these docile creatures… no one is really sure where they are born or how they breed.
Balaur
Balaur are ancient beasts that have existed in Tyrth since the dawn of time. They live to be thousands of years old and are quite elusive.
Mothalo
These docile creatures have been domesticated for their wool production. Their thick woolly coats grow continuously, and they are known for shedding large fluffy tufts of fur throughout the year.
Empakomu
A bright shine of light in your eyes and the feeling of small talons grabbing onto your hand. That is the last thing you remember before a black bird has flown away with your wedding ring.
Glasslark
These birds aren't truly made of glass, but their feathers are so reflective that they mirror the world around them. This effect makes these birds very difficult to see.
Flora
Pearl Berries
These leafy bushes are found on shorelines all across the realm of Tyrth, and are easy to spot due to their deep indigo leaves and pale berries. These seaside plants have a unique ability to transform salt water into sugar.

Innocent Blood
This ground cover plant has heart-shaped leaves and small delicate flowers that are usually white in colour, but can also be variegated in shades of red. Curiously, this plant only grows in soil where blood has been spilled.
Apples of Tyrth
Tyrth has many different apple varieties that come in a wide array of colours and flavours - some even defy gravity!
Dyrsbane
This plant has the unique ability to suppress magic, and has a long and complex role in Tyrth's history. It is now a regulated substance in the realm.
Minerals
Balaurite
Balaur have a unique kind of magic that causes nearby ore to transform into a mineral known as balaurite. Balaurite can only form in a balaur’s lair, so it is incredibly rare and highly dangerous to mine.

The Fall Whale
