Closed Species

Fowldyr are a closed species owned by Stasanie and are not allowed to be created freely without the owners' expressed permission. Fowldyr cannot be minted as NFTs and the designs and the artwork, writing, and music of the fowldyr community cannot be used in machine learning technologies/generative AI datasets.

How do I acquire a fowldyr?

Custom Fowldyr Commissions

You can have a custom fowldyr designed for you by Stasanie - the species creator. Stasanie only takes custom fowldyr design commission through the official Discord Server. Custom designs are 500 USD.

Adoptables

Pre-made designs are periodically for sale in the Discord Server. Adoptables start at 400 USD.

Free Raffles

Free designs are raffled off annually in the Discord Server!

Guest Artists

Guest Artists are occasionally invited to design fowldyr. The designing process is carefully overseen by Stasanie. The opportunity to be a Guest Artist is by invitation only. Please do not ask to design your own fowldyr.

SFW Species

While the community is for adults, the species themselves are generally SFW (Safe For Work) in nature.

What's Allowed?

  • Romantic stories are allowed
  • Intimate scenes between human form fowldyr are allowed as long as they are not pornographic
  • Suggestive/pin-up style art of human form fowldyr is allowed
  • Violence and mild gore is allowed

What's NOT Allowed?

  • Pornographic artwork is not allowed
  • Extreme gore is not allowed

Design Alterations

Fowldyr owners are welcome to explore different hairstyles, clothing, and accessories for their fowldyr. I believe that fowldyr wouldn't necessarily dress the same every day, so I welcome exploration of new outfits and accessories. If you would like to draw them or commission art of them wearing different clothing and showing their hair styled in a different way you are welcome to do so. 

What can I change about my fowldyr's design?

  • Hairstyle
  • Clothing
  • Accessories (as long as it's not their vessel)
  • Marking simplification
  • Vessel design simplification (you are free to draw complex vessel designs in a simpler style!)
  • Body type (within reason)
  • Gender (if you would like anatomy of the reference sheet to be redrawn to reflect this it would require paid alterations)
  • Pronouns
  • Lore/Backstory

What am I NOT allowed to change about my fowldyr's design?

I ask that folks do not completely redesign my designs. If you do wish to have these kinds of changes made to a design and for these changes to be canon please reach out to me and request paid alterations.

  • What their vessel is
  • What their core material is (horn colour, eye colour, hoof colour)
  • Hair colour and skin colour
  • Horn design, or removal of horns
  • Removal or addition of appendages such as wings, tails, arms, legs
  • Adding prosthetics

Selling & Trading

Selling, gifting, and trading designs is allowed. If you would like to sell/gift/trade your fowldyr it must be done within the official Discord Server so that the exchange is considered legitimate.

Trading & Gifting

A fowldyr that was received for free cannot be sold. If you would like to rehome your fowldyr you must do so for free. Free designs are designs where no currency was exchanged while acquiring the design - this includes fowldyr that were given as gifts, won in raffles, or received via trade. You can use the Master List to confirm whether a design was acquired via gift, trade, or raffle. These designs will be noted as Not For Resale or indicated to be Free Raffle Designs.

Reselling

If you decide to sell your fowldyr you must sell it at the price you originally paid for it. The price that a fowldyr was purchased at is noted in the Master List. Inflating the price of a fowldyr when reselling is prohibited.

Additional commissioned art can add to the price within reason, but cannot be used to drastically increase the sale price. Non-commissioned artworks cannot be used to increase the value of the fowldyr (this includes trades, gifts, and personal art).

Voiding

A voided fowldyr is a design that is disowned from the community due to infringing the species rules.
The owner of the voided fowldyr can keep the design on condition that they agree to alter it and do not associate it with the closed species anymore, or completely discard the design. All voided fowldyr are considered no longer official and cannot interact with the community. All affiliations to them therefore are made non canon, as if they never existed.
