Pearl Berries

These leafy bushes are found on shorelines all across the realm of Tyrth, and are easy to spot due to their deep indigo leaves and pale berries. These seaside plants have a unique ability to transform salt water into sugar. Their preference for salinity and the opalescent sheen of the berries have earned these plants the name Pearl Berries. The paler berries tend to have a more vanilla flavour, while berries that are more golden in hue have a somewhat caramel taste. Most berries enjoyers can detect just the tiniest hint of salt, which seems to enhance the delicate flavour.
