Wight Lights

These bioluminescent mushrooms can be found scattered throughout the dark forests of Maelmire. They are helpful for traversing the region due to the soft, ghostly glow they emit. However, it is best to exercise caution when passing through an area with Wight Lights present. When the mushrooms are bumped or disturbed they release a cloud of spores that cause hallucinations when inhaled. The hallucinations tend to be steeped in the affected person’s fears and anxieties. These mushrooms have contributed to the many myths and legends about the region because folks aren’t sure if the beasts and terrors they saw were even real to begin with... or if they were just the trickery of the Wight Lights.
